How to Boot the Discovery Unit into Recovery Mode

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for troubleshooting boot issues on the Discovery Unit by selecting a previous kernel version. If you're encountering problems during the boot process, following these simple steps can help you restore the system to a stable state and get it running again.
  1. Ensure the system is off. Press the power button to start the discovery unit.

  2. While the system is booting, repeatedly press the left Shift key.

  3. Use the arrow keys to navigate to "Advanced Options for Ubuntu" and press Enter.



  4. Select the previous version of the kernel and press Enter.



  5. The system should continue booting.
